After attending college at Winthrop University in South Carolina, I purchased the Green Rice Gallery in Charlotte’s Art District known as NoDa. I represented over 30 artists in the 3 years I owned the gallery, until the recession of 2010 forced me to close up shop. This ended up being a blessing in disguise as I now had the time to focus on my own career as an artist.
I soon forged a place for my work as a commission based pet portrait artist with acrylic paint on canvas as my preferred medium.
I had always had a fascination with mural art, and in 2015 I painted my very first mural. Since then I have made a name for myself locally as an established muralist. I like to describe my style of painting as a mix of pop art and stylized realism, with a bit of humor thrown in. I adore painting in a large scale, and I have become quite adept at using spray paint as a primary medium in my work. My clientele ranges from residential to commercial for mural work, and I design specifically with my client in mind, taking into consideration their location, business, personality, history, etc.
